Three building expansions and the addition of more specialized equipment later, we are now a 27,000 sq. ft. facility employing 35 skilled staff and serving a more expanded customer base. We provide engineering, machining, welding, metal fabrication, and assembly services to our customers in industry ranging from agricultural and manufacturing to printing and plastics. We do everything from prototype work to designing and building complete machine projects for our customers. | Company History |
Following his passion for machining and welding, Jay Palmer began
his business in 1990 on the lower level of his parent's barn. With
only a few pieces of equipment, he provided a welding and machine
shop service to the community of Merrimac, Wisconsin and the
surrounding area.
As his business grew, Jay added additional equipment to expand the
services he offered to his customers prompting the need for a larger
facility. In 1994 Palmer Manufacturing relocated to its present
location at the foot of the Baraboo Bluffs.
